Chairman D.J.Russell called the meeting to order at 7 :30 PM,
The following regular members were present: Ww.A.0urry,11.S.Rice9
D. S . Cleveland and tir. W. Wolfe 9 the latter arriving late, Ex officio
members present viere: K.Tu2- T_ham.D.J.Boll and
NAVARRE NATIONAL BANK: Mr., R.M.Keaveny,representing bank intex ests
and George Scherven,Navarre Investment Company appeared in regard
to plans for the site of the proposed Navarre National Bank. A
46X46 foot building is planned.with a set —back of 60 feet and ade-
quate parking space, The Commission recommended a rear access as
well as that on County #19 and I;Zr Scherven stated that it was feas-
ible, Curry moved recommending preliminary approval of the plans.
The motion was seconded by Rice and carried.
RE- SUBDIVISION TRACTS D 1UND B, RLS # 269: I5.r.0.L. Norris and Dr.
D.A.Pdterson were present requesting recoruendations as to the
re—subdivision of the wove referenced property on County 7T51 33
East of they Bohns Point Rd. After lengthy.-discussion the concenm
sus was that there was not enough high land to assure sanitary
sowage disposal andsat the same time9adequa.te set — back. The Comm
rai .SSIor_ expressed. a desire to see plans of the entire areas
Curry moved "to deny recommendation of the request as presently
submitted,Rice seconded the motion and it carried,

Mr Cashi , .requested recommendations for approval of a subdivi-
sion of Mr. Cashin° s property so as to provide a parcel of around
7/8 acre as a building site for Dr.Garske ®s residence,(Legal des-
cription: Lot 1$Auditor° s Subdivision J 1.69),
Cleveland mo'v'ed to rdcommend approval of the request. The motion
was seconded by Rice and carried.
SUI3DIVISIOI19LOT 24,LO1M_-4 LINDA ADDN,, s Mr. Vernon Brandenburg,
representing Yrs.Char ].ton Moorhead requested recommendations re �+�5
the division of Lot 24 so that two building sites could be nude
of Lots 23,24 and 25, The three lots total around 209000 sgafee t.
Cleveland moved to deny approval. The motion was seconded by Rice
and carried.
Mr., BI °andenburg then amended his request asking fecommendations
as to one building permit on the three lots, Curry moved �o re =-
commend approval of the amended request. The motion was seconded
by Cleveland and carried,
SUBDIVISION, CASCO POINT LODIGE PROP:LRTY., Mr, J.B.Clarksonvropre-
scanting the First Federal Savings and Loan Ass°n.9 present owners X38
of Casco Point Lodge, presented plans for dividing the 1,75 acres
into two parcels for building sites. Curry moved to recoruaend
cp Droval of the plan.The motion Avas seconded by Rice and carried,

Mrs.Bernard Kell were present requesting recommendations of the �35�
division of the referenced property containing 2 acres so as to
leave the existing buildings (except the large garage) on one
parcel and provide another site for a planned double — garage ram-
bler 84 feet in length, It was pointed out-that the sewage system
in existence would not be disturbed.and that the existing residence
would probably be rented outpafter Te new structure was completed.
Cleveland moved to recommend approval of the request. Wolfe second-
ed the motion and it carried.
SUBDIVISIONS C.A.BECK PROPERTY: Consideration was given the re-
quest of Mr.C.A.Beck (not present) for a subdivision. of Lots 3t x,3l
4 and S,Crystal Bay View each 11$000 sq.feet, to provide another
building site in addition to his existing residence on Lot 5.
Mr, Beck 3s presently negotiating for the purchase of Lot 2. No
plans were submitted.
Wolfe moved to tablo the matter. It was seconded by Rice &: carried.
PROCEDURAL QUEST'ION,PREDA SCHALL R:— SUBDIVISION: r.ii. (..(B .11� Lee
„requested a legal opinion on the status of 50 foot lots platted in
1959 before proceding further vw th -the above — mentioned subdivisior_
of Lot 3,Blk.2 and Lot 2,Blk 4.( See Plan.Com.minutesJug.19,1963Y'
Commission had withheld recommendations pending a report of the
opinions of property owners in the immediate areas Mr. Lee was
referred to the Village Council on the matter of getting a legal
opinion from our attorney. The original request for subdivision
was then discussed. It was moved by Turnham,seconded by Wolfe,
that the request be denied, Motion carried,
PUBLIC HEARINGS ON ZONING: Pair. Loran Butterfield queried the
Coim:sission ds to then public hearings would be held on zoning.
He was informed that wo are now in the process of working out
zoning recommendations for Council consideration and that he
would be kept informed of progress.
RELOCATION: K„Tur2uharz brought up the matter of relocation of
an ice house and a real estate office building now loca.tedgat
least partially, on the proposed site of the gyrational Bank of
Navarre. Various possible sites were discussed,
