VILLAGE COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION
DECEMBER 79 1964
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. The following
members of the Council were present: Wm. J. Schmitt,
R. L. Searles, C. R. Quady, R. M. Franzel and H. Ro Rosa.
Regular members of the Planning Commission present were:
D. J. Russell, Wm. A. Curry, W. W. Wolfe, H. S. Rice,
D. S. Cleveland and A. K. Simonson. Ex- officio members
present were: K. Turnham and Wm. T. Mills.
Wm. Mills presented for discussion a plat of an area west of
Concours lying in Wallace's Addition to the Village of Minne-
tonka Beach (Lots 32 to 379 44 to 55 and 61, 62, 63). The
discussion centered around the possibility of rezoning at
least =a portion to Light Industry to accommodate electronics
and light metal stamping companies. It was indicated that it
might be advantageous, with the sewer connected and other
requirements met, but recommendations were withheld pending
submittal of,definite plans. It was pointed out that Council
would have to give final approval and a public hearing held.
Mr. James Hawks of the Midwest Planning
then began a detailed discussion of the
ordinance which ended with a request by
members that he draw up a complete rough
as discussed.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
