A. Curry. The follo,ving were present,- A.K. Simonson, H.S . Rice, D.S. Cleveland and Y.- Turnham. • SUBDIVISION -C. L. NORRIS C. L. Norris submitted a request for the subdivision-of Tract C 'and parts of Tract D and E Gov? t Lot 2. Sec.9, Range 27, Townshiv 23,.,vhich would provide for a to approximating' an acre for sale to Dr. Robert Cutshell. An extensive "pond" renders much of this sub;9ivision too low for a satisfactory drainpg -i field. Mr. Norris was referred to the Village Council as the proper authority for.,initial action. RE ZOIING -M. 0. STENBERCT Mr. and Mrs. M. 0. Stenberg i ere present rel�:tive to recoinmendUtions on rezoning of their property known as the St;ndy Beech Resort. Reference was made to the minutes of the Village Couno % l dated January 13, 1964, in which the Council reoue,ted the recommendation of the Planning; Commission t:` ` on the specific question of rezoning this property to commercial. Cleveland moved that the Commission recommend rezoning of this property to commercial for resort purposes only. The motion was seconded by Rice and carried with a vote of 3 ayes, 1 nay. i f Es SUBDIVISIOiN -ROGER FAZ'r.',NDIN mr. Roger Fazendin of The Eberhardt Company was present re the sub- division of Lot 15, Auditoras Subdivision #229, The plan, to which Village Council granted preliminary approval, is for four lots, 2 of 3.8 acres each, one of 4.3 acres and onF of 4.8 acres. The question referred to the Planning Commission was regarding, the size, location and arrangement for easement rights of the driveway for access to 3 of the 4 lots. Rice moved to recommend approval of a 50 ft. right-of-way and utility easements extending 968.7 ft. northerly from Fox Street along the east border of Lots A and B and continuing northwesterly along the intersection line of Lots B and C. A cul-de-sac of 100 ft. diameter to be provided for at the Intersection of Lots B0 C, and D. Any further extension for this right of way to be considere(X as private driveway. The motion was seconded by Simonson and carried. K . Turnham introduced the question of fire insurance rates be —InF; reduced? in Orono from 10 to 9. The result of the Fire Underwriters Inspection Bureau work was made known and a diseusslon ensued as to the relative advantage of finalizing the initial inspection of Orono.
