Dear Evelyn:
We have reviewed the Grading Plan for the proposed house and shed at 1140 Town Line Road,
received 5-30-07. We have the following preliminary comments with regards to engineering
matters:
• Storm water runoff will be directed to the adjacent propertysouth of the proposed shed.
A drainage swale should be constructed on the applicant's property to contain the runoff
or the applicant may be able to work with the neighbor to the south and construct a swale
along the common lot line.
• The silt fence should be extended along all proposed grading along the south lot line.
• Final plans should include a silt fence detail. The detail should conform to Orono City
Standards.
If you have any questions, please call me at(651) 604-4894.
Yours very truly,
BONESTROO

Dear Evelyn:
We have reviewed the revised Grading Plan for the proposed house and shed at 1140 Town Line Road,
dated 6-4-07. We have the following comments with regards to engineering matters:
• The plan shows proposed grading will occur on the property to the south of the subject
property. The applicant should submit proof of the ability to perform grading operations on
the adjacent property.
• Wood posts are not allowed for silt fence installation. Steel T-posts should be used.
If you have any questions, please call me at (651) 604-4863.

BONESTROO
