License Nnmher-0001508 Long Lake, MN 55356 Orono, MN 55364 Dear Doug & Mary & Bob & Debbie: This is a note to follow-up on the joint landscaping between your adjoining properties. I haven't followed the progress closely, but it sounds as if the work is imminent. We will, as we previously committed, contribute $200.00 worth of material and/or labor to change the color of the stone riprap in the drainageway along the south side of Williams' house. I would guess that this means removing the existing stone rather than covering it with gray stones. Let me know your preference. Before we begin the work, we want to review how the landscape plans match up to insure that the structural integrity of the boulder walls is not compromised. Without going into detail here, these concerns are outlined in my letter of May 21, 1997 and the letter from the City Inspector dated October 27, 1997. If these concerns are solved, we will schedule our work. With a few days notice we can schedule the work and will coordinate it with the landscape crews of both parties. However, we don't want to remove the stone and leave the area exposed to runoff and erosion for an extended period of time. I will meet with both of you if you can set a time and give me a little notice ahead of time. We can jointly coordinate the work.
