Dear Mr. Larson:
The City has received the hardcover calculations and building plans submitted for your proposed
shed. As you know, you are in excess of allowed hardcover limits. For the project to move
ahead you have two choices. First to remove existing hardcover down to the allowed 25%
including the new shed or you may ask the City Council for a variance to the hardcover
regulations. Enclosed is a variance application for your review. If you have questions, call
Jeanne A. Mabusth. She can help you through the variance process and give you an idea of
your chances in getting a variance approved.
