Dear Mr. Larson:
This letter is in response to your request for information regarding this area:
• The City has no plans for any public ground water development wells within 1/2 mile
of this area. There could be a possibility of domestic wells for new homes in the
area.
• The City has no municipal water wells in a 1 mile radius of the site. Our closest well
is in the Navarre area down by County Road 15/County Road 19.
• There is no municipal water service provided for any of the following addresses on
Tonkawa Road: 550, 640, 650, 666, 670, 680, 684. The City has no plans to extend
water service to this area on Tonkawa Road.

RE: Camp Teko, 645 Tonkawa Road, Mound, Minnesota (MPCA Leak #9648)
Dear Mr. Gappa:
B.A. Liesch Associates, Inc. (Liesch) is conducting a petroleum release investigation at the
above-referenced site (the site). Pursuant to Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA)
requirements, Liesch is requesting you to prepare a brief letter regarding the following three
matters:
• To the best of your knowledge, are there any ground water development plans within
one-half mile of the site.
• Please indicate the location of any municipal water wells within a one-mile radius of the
site.
• Indicate whether or not municipal water service is provided to any of the following
addresses on Tonkawa Road: 550, 640, 650, 666, 670, 680, 684, and 678.
Two maps are provided for you information and to plot the locations of any municipal wells.
