Attn: Clint Gables 3600 Shoreline Drive Wayzata, MN 55391 Re: 4798 North Shore Drive, Orono Dear Clint: The Building & Zoning Department is in receipt of your application for a building permit, which was received by this office on November 4, 1988. A review of the application finds that the Certificate of Survey provided is not acceptable, in that the proposed house location is merely sketched on the survey, and does not verify that the required setbacks are met. You must have a surveyor stake the proposed house and garage location, and verify the proposed setbacks from the lot lines to the structure. For the record, the setback to the southeasterly lot line must be 101, and the setback to the northeasterly line must also be 10' or more. The setback to the right-of-way line must be at least 351 . Review of your application will not continue until the noted items are received. Failure to submit required items may result in delays in issuance of permits. Caples 5524 James Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55419 Re: Building Permit Application, 4798 North Shore Drive, Orono Dear Mr. Caples: We are in receipt of your application for a building permit for 4798 North Shore Drive, and find the following items must be submitted in order for your application to be considered complete: 1. A copy of the entire survey showing the proposed house and garage, and including the surveyors signature and date. (The copy you submitted does not even show the entire lot.) 2. On the survey, indicate where the driveway will be and show the location where you wi 11 access onto a City road. 3. Submit hardcover calculations (form attached). 4. Submit energy calculations (you were given this form in our office). 5. Submit complete building plans (2 sets). The plans submitted are lacking in detail , do not match the survey, and do not include the proposed attached garage. Contact Tom Jacobs, Building Inspector, if you have further questions on the plans. The above items must be submitted to this office no later than February 14, 1986 in order for the City to consider this as a good-faith application meeting the deadline per Resolution #1721. If all items are not received by that date (which allows you a 30 day grace period from the January 14, 1986 deadline) , you will have to reapply for the lot area and width variances.
