RE: SAC Charge - Sewer Connection
Dear Mr. Christensen:
On May 17, 1993, the City received a SAC payment of $750.00 for your connection to City
sewer. On January 1, 1994, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) increased
the SAC charge to $800.00. According to their regulations, the current SAC rate applies when
the sewer is connected. It is very likely there will be an additional increase in January of 1995.
Since your property is not currently connected to City sewer, please be aware that you will be
responsible for paying any additional SAC charges accumulated since the original payment of
$750.00. This payment will be due at the time the property is connected to City sewer and a
plumbing contractor takes out a sewer connection permit.
