Dear Ms. McCarty:
I am writing in regards to your above addressed property,tax parcel number 05-117-23-
13-0051. In 2002 you were issued a building permit for anew home and attached garage.
On March 3, 2003 you were given a temporary certificate of occupancy on the condition
you would correct the remaining code violations within the next 85 days. I inspected
your property today and noticed the permanent front step has not been built. The other
remaining issue is to verify the garage firewall has been taped.
The front step and verifying the taped firewall must be done. The minimum that the city
can accept for a front step would be a sturdy,well built three foot by three foot landing
and two steps. The landing and steps do not need to be attached to the house provided
they are uptight to the structure and sturdy. I am asking that the front steps be in place
and you call to arrange for a final inspection by May 26, 2006.
