Prahm 3765 Togo Road Wayzata, MN 55391 Dear Mr. Prahm: It has come to the attention of this department that you are in violation of the Orono Municipal Code. The storage of non-passenger vehicles is not allowed on residential property (Section 10.61). Also, the storage of the commercial vehicles on the property is considered evidence that a business is operated within a residential property regardless of whether an office exists within the dwelling (Section 5.40 of the Orono Municipal Code). For these reasons, the vehicle must be removed from the property. The use of a residence for business is allowed under certain conditions in Orono, but requires a home occupation license from the City. The requirements for a home occupation license can be obtained at the City Offices. The use of the property for business must be discontinued until a home occupation license is issued. These violations must be eliminated by March 10, 1997. Please contact me at the City Offices if you have questions on this matter. Sincerely, Stephen Weckman Field Inspector cc: Lyle Oman, Building Official Telephone (612) 473-7357 FAX 473-0510 o . o CITY of ORONO Municipal Offices Street Address: Mailing Address: ` taE+ggOg' 2750 Kelley Parkway P.O. Prahm 3765 Togo Road Wayzata, MN 55391 RE: Commercial Vehicle Parking and Home Occupation Dear Mr. Prahm: Thank you for removing the commercial vehicle from your property. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Since the commercial vehicle has been removed from the property, the City will not pursue a home occupation violation. If additional problems come to the attention of this department which provide evidence of a home occupation violation at your residence, the City may pursue legal action. These violations must be eliminated by March 10, 1997. Please contact me at the City Offices if you have questions on this matter.
