To whom it may concern,
This is an order to secure the building located at the above referenced property. The structure is
vacant and was not winterized. The water pipes burst and the basement has had approximately
3 feet of standing water for more than 6 months. The city deems the structure to be hazardous
due to the fact it has been left open to trespass and other health and welfare issues. If the
building is not secured within 48 hours of this order the city will cause the building to be properly
secured and the cost of securing the building will be Charged against the real estate as provided
in Orono Municipal Code Section 82-4.
Please contact me with your intentions on this property. The city will be moving forward with
hazardous build action to remove the damaged structure and belongings from the property.
