Dear Ms. Van Ness :
This letter is regarding the large ice darn that is forming from your mound. It appears
that the ice is from sewage surfacing from your septic system. Your mound is not
currently working properly and surfacing on the ground. This is an imminent health
threat that must be repaired ASAP. Please contact a septic pumper or designer to look
into the surfacing mound. Until the mound is fixed, you must use your septic tanks as
holding tanks and they must be pumped every time they fill up. You must contract with a
septic pumper so the city knows that the tanks will be pumped.
