Purpose: Extension of a stormwater management pond within a wetland to create a
wildlife pond.

Staff Review and Summarv:
The project involves extending a current stormwater management pond by excavating to a 4'
depth within a Type 1 wetland. A silt fence is to be installed around the area during construction
of the pond and the homesite. More than 150' of the site around the pond will be returned to
native vegetation following the excavation. The pond size will be increased by approximately '/a
of an acre.
