Dear Jean :
This permit was applied for and issued to us on 9/26/90 .
With the situation in the Middle East worsening , we held off
starting construction.
Another concern of ours was that in the event of conflict ,
materials needed to complete may be cut off , leaving a
partially completed residence .
Therefore we request an extension of this permit until the
Iraq situation is resolved.

RE: Building Permit #3293 - 2101 Sugarwood Drive
Dear Sid:
The Building and Zoning Department has reviewed your request for
an extension of the above mentioned building permit. As you
know, the permit becomes nu 1 1 and void if work is not commenced
within 180 days of issuance. The U.B.C. allows a 180 day
extension if the applicant presents "good and satisfactory
reasons". We will therefore extend Building Permit #3293.
The permit will expire 360 days from issuance if work is not
commenced. An extension may be granted only one time. In order
to renew action on a permit after expiration, the permittee shall
pay a new full permit fee.
