Applications 2. Sample Interview Questions 1. Purpose. The purpose for this work session item is provide the City Council the opportunity to interview prospective Park Commissioners. 2. Background. The Parks Commission is made up of seven regular members who serve three year terms. The terms are intended to be staggered. The City received four applications from residents, two of which are current members whom wish to serve additional terms as regular members. 3. Applicants. The two new applicants are listed below. Their applications and sample interview questions are attached. Applicants have been asked to begin with a brief informal dialogue about themselves and why they desire to serve on the Park Commission. Appointments. A Council Action will be provided on the regular Council meeting Agenda for the Council to make appointments. Staff recommends that the City Council appoints four Park Commissioners to three year terms.
