Do either of you know where this is at in the process? All I have is a memo to file from Ron
Moorse saying the sewer extension had been approved by the City conditioned on them
extending the sewer to their eastern property line and paying the full cost. (Something
tells me that's all there is.)

Subject: Sewer extension and connection status
Dear Robert and Caroline:
As we discussed at our December 2, 2008 meeting, I am writing this letter to reiterate and
confirm the approval of your sewer extension project pending the resolution of dispute
between the City of Orono and the Met Council conceming the "residential development
density calculation" issue.
Once this issue is resolved, a permit will be issued by the City of Orono for your sewer
extension and connection. The City of Orono does not require an appraisal of your
property for this to occur. Therefore, from the City's perspective the appraisal for your
property (Oak Knoll Appraisals - dated 1/17/2008) can be considered valid and an
"updated"appraisal will not be required by the City. No further action is required on your
behalf.
We will contact you when the City of Orono is prepared to issue the permit for your
sewer connection. As noted previously, as part of the connection process you must
extend the sewer line to the east border of your property, and you will be responsible for
all costs related to the sewer extension project. Other than the required connection permit
fee and Met Council SAC charge due with the permit, there is no separate "connection
fee" for which you are responsible. Please contact me at 952-249-4622 if you have any
questions.
Sincerely, ;- ;

SUBJECT: No Sewer Connection Fee for the Property at 1135 Spring Hill Road
Robert Fullerton has requested the extension of municipal sewer to serve his property at 1135 Spring Hill
Road. The City has approved the extension of sewer to serve his property with two conditions. The first is
that the project include extending the sewer line to the eastern property line of the Fullerton property, so
that it can be extended in the future to serve the property to the east. The second is that Mr. Fullerton pay
all costs related to the sewer extension project.
Because the cost of the sewer extension project is substantially more than a sewer connection fee, the
City will not charge a City sewer connection fee for the connection of 1135 Spring Hill Road to the
municipal sewer system. ,t
