Due to your conccrn tliat one of the proposed drainfieid sites would limit the location et' a
resi�lence at 2915 S�merset L,ane, you and I met with Jeff Syvedlund of Swedlund Se�tic Sea�vice
tu locate ai�� alt�rnative site on Decer�iber 12, 1995.
A p�tential drainfield site was identified on slopes of six pereent w�hich r�ieets all required setbacks
anci has s�:fficient area ior a five beclroom residence. A soil boring perfortnetl by Mr. Swedlund
indicales ttial tlie soils appear to be suitable for a mourid drainfield. No probl�ms or liiiiitations
wei-e observed regarcling the area which would make it an unacceptable drainfield site.
I33sed on tlae site inspeclion ancl soil boring perforined on December 12, 1995, it is lik,e� t�l�at tlle
alternative site identii�ied by Mr. Swedluud will be suitalile for a resi�lence on tt�is propei�ty, but
this can n��[ be confirmed uutil additional soil testing can be con�ipleted. Before a building permit
can be issued, the City will requixe an additional two soil Lorin�s, three percolation tests, arid a
complete septic system design. The proposed residence and boCh drainfield sites must also be
located on a survey to confirm the proper setbacks.
