Ahlberg 95 Smith Avenue Wayzata, Mn 55391 Deaz Ms. Ahlberg An inspection of your septic system was conducted on Nfarch 16, 2000. The system was installed on November 1, 1965 by McWilliams. A summary of the inspection is below. Septic Tank Condition 1. Pumpout not needed at this time.(Last Pumpout 4/22/99) The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot sepazation distance between the bottom of the drainfield to the seasonally high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code, not a City Code. A soil boring was conducted to determine the depth of the seasonally watertable. The property must be connected to the municipal sewer by December 31, 2002. If the septic system is found dischazging untreated septic effluent to the surface, seR-er connection will be required within ninety(90) days. Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors R-ho work in Orono on a regulaz basis. Also enclosed is a fact sheet explaiYung how a septic system functions properly. Finally, an as-built drawing is enclosed that shows the approximate location of the septic system. If you have any questions regazding this report, please contact me at the City Oi'ices at 249--600. Respectfully, Chris Pence On-Site Systems Manager Enclosures In the event this inspection report is used to satisfy the requirements for a mortgage or other transfer of property,be advised that this report does no guarantee or certify the ezisting system will continue to function properl, but is merely an opinion of the adequacy of the system under current conditions based on the available information This report must be kept on the premises with the system location and pumping records.
