Dear Mr. Bonnett:
This letter is in follow-up to our phone conversation of Monday, June 20, 2005, at
which time we discussed the required fees from the City of Orono to hook-up to
the city sewer connection. I spoke with Greg Gappa, Public Services Director,
and I was told the SAC fee is $1450.00 plus the city requires a plumbing permit
fee of$35.50. The SAC fee needs to be paid before the city will issue the
plumbing permit for the hoolc-up.
These fees are assuming that the street assessments have been paid at the time of
closing as you have indicated. The existing cesspool and seepage pit will need to
be pumped, cnished and backfilled at the time of the septic hook-up. If you have
any fiu-ther questions, please feel free to call.
