Reference :Your memo of 15 Sept 1991 , indicating we had 90 days
to make repairs
Reference:Your memo of 30 Oct 1991 , indicating we have an
additional 90 days to make repairs
After the first referenced memo we surveyed the site and
determined that the problem was the grading. The site at the
point of the drainfield slopes to the North, and as such the
run-off from that entire section of the property flows over
the drainfield. This was exacerbated by the fact that the
trenches in the field had settled after initial grading and
caught and held the water . Of course this was only noticeable
this year because of the extreme amounts of rainfall .
The solution was was fairly simple: grade the field and cut a
swale to allow the other water to run around the drainfield.
We have completed these corrections , and feel we will have na
further problems, since the system otherwise appears to be
sound. Thanks for your assistance, please contact me if you
