� o� <br /> 0, ,, O CITY of ORONO <br /> 3S n, <br /> �-1 ,�,����� --� � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �'�� , � '����,�G� No. 6 3 4 O <br /> ,, <br /> �kESH04 <br /> A RESOLUTION RECENING THE CITY ENGINEER'S FEASIBILITY STUDY <br /> AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE <br /> GREEN TREES ROAD SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION <br /> WHEREAS, the residents on Green Trees Road submitted a petition to extend the <br /> sanitary sewer down Green Trees Road; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Council accepted the petition and directed staff to perform a <br /> feasibility report; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Project improvement shall include the extension of sanitary sewer <br /> main lines pursuant to Minnesota Statues, Sections 429.011 to 429.1 1 ]; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Feasibility Study (Study) was received by the City Council on <br /> November 1?, 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Study provides information regarding whether the proposed project <br /> is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of Orono, Minnesota: <br /> 1. The City Council will consider the improvement of the extension of sanitary sewer in <br /> accordance with the Study and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion <br /> of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429 at an <br /> estimated total cost of the improvement of$124,000. <br /> 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13t� day of <br /> January, 2014, in the Orono Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 3.
