Several large trucks and snow removal equipment is being stored on the property. There is also an illegal structure on the property. The property is located in a residential zone which prohibits this use of the property. The building code requires permits for structures; however, this structure does not meet the requirements of the code. Therefore the City must require you to cease this illegal use of the property and to remove the structure. A deadline of March 1, 1999 has been established for compliance. Box 66 Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066 RE: 2940 Sixth Avenue North, Orono, MN Dear Mr. Oman: This letter is in response to your letter of February 23, 1999, and various telephone conversations and messages between us. The large trucks and snow removal equipment will be removed from the property prior to March 1, 1999. The plastic-sheathed structure will be removed on or before April 1, 1999. Regarding the structure, however, since there may be some components of it embedded in frozen ground, we ask your consideration in extending the deadline for removing those components until the ground thaws.
