Re: 2905 Sixth Ave North
I have been informed that the existing septic system for 2905 Sixth Ave North in Orono has been found
to be non-compliant. I have not received a copy of the compliance inspection to verify this information.
The City of Orono does not allow the replacement of an onsite system if city services are available.
There is a sewer line available for this property to hook into. Costs for hooking up to the city service are
available.
The city also has in place a point of sale compliance ordinance that states that if the existing septic
system is found to be out of compliance it must be brought into compliance prior to transfer of the
property. Please see the attached copy of the city code pertaining to this matter. If there are any
