Dear Chuck and Gerry:
I want to follow up on our commitment to install a
wooden fence on your property line, as part of our arena
project.
I have learned from the City that, under its
ordinances, the maximum height for that fence is 6 feet. I
also understand that for the first 50 feet south from the
south line of the Highway 6 right of way, the maximum height
is 3 Z feet.
We propose to install that fence in eight foot
cedar sections, between 4" x 4" cedar posts. We also
propose that the sections consist of top and bottom cedar 2"
x 4" plates, with 1" x 6" or 1" x 8" cedar boards spaced on
alternating sides of the �lates to provide for air passage
through the fence.
We will agree with you on actual drawings before
we start the fence, but please let me know if you have any
thoughts about this proposal.

It was nice to talk with you the other day.
As we discussed, I have attempted to sketch out
the kind of fence that we propose for your property line,
and enclose that drawing for your and Chuck' s review.
We have confirmed with a lumber/home improvement
center that this is a good quality design for a privacy
fence, and particularly for a relatively long one (approx.
470 feet) .
