Dear Mr. Erickson:
This letter is to notify you that Burn Permit No.3-270-00 issued to you on 3-2-00,has been revoked
for the following violations:
► Burning on a site other than site approved by permit.
► Burning of prohibited materials.
► Allowing fire to burn out of your control.
The City is also issuing citation No. 3000268015 for violation of City Ordinance 9.30 Subdivision

SUBJECT: Citation No. 3000268015
On 3-2-00 open burning permit No.3-270-00 was issued to Lew Erickson for burning at 2500 Sixth
Avenue North. On 3-14-00 the fire department was called to the site to extinguish a fire that had
gotten out of control that threatened wetlands and neighboring houses. Upon investigation it was
found that they were burning in an unapproved location and were burning prohibited materials.The
City revoked the burn permit and issued the citation. The City's objective is to fine the property
owner for violation of City Ordinance No. 9.30 Subdivision(1).
