I see your plan shows the proposed hardcover, but it's unclear if any proposed topography changes are being proposed. Please provide clarification. Also, please note per City Code Section 18-136(b) a residential driveway approach cannot exceed 20'. Your plans will need to be adjusted. Let me know if you have any additional questions. A permit is not needed for replacing, relocating or adding a turn-around to the existing driveway as long as earth movement(filling or excavating is kept to 50 cubic yards or less). If the proposed changes involve changing the existing grade (topography) within 5 feet of the property line a permit will be required. Please note the property is located within Tier 1 of the City's Stormwater Quality Overlay District and is allowed 25%of the gross area of the property to be covered in hardcover. Also attached is a copy of the City's information packet on Hardcover for your reference. If you are proposing to make changes to the driveway access onto Frederick Street, i.e. widen or change the location, a Right-of-Way(ROW) permit application must be submitted and approved by the City engineer prior to the change. Attached is a copy of the ROW permit application. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any additional questions. Looking over the permits for Orono (correct me if I'm wrong),wouldn't we also have to have a zoning permit with minor land alteration information? Since this is a driveway, do we still have to have erosion control and escrow? Thank you....
