As we discussed, the building has been classified as Group B- Business <br /> which has provisions for sprinkling these buildings for fire protection. We would ask <br /> that you consider Exemption 1306.0060 in the Minnesota State Building Code for our <br /> building for a number of reasons. <br /> Please consider the following: <br /> 1) The building does not have access to city water and wili be supplied by a well <br /> which constitutes a large installation costs for a small, limited use building, a <br /> provision in Minnesota Building Code Exemption 1306.0060. <br /> 2) The building is far in excess of the 60 feet of clearance from public ways or <br /> yards spelled out in the Minnesota Building Code Exemption 1306.0060. <br /> 3) Our typical use will be 1-2 people in each of three teaching bays which all <br /> have 14 foot garage doars out onto the practice facility. Rarely will they all <br /> be in use at the same time. The building will be available for use Tuesday <br /> through Sunday and typically be closed at 7-8:00 PM with no overnight use <br /> (Please see attached use estimate that was submitted to the City Council). <br /> 4) No flammables or hazardous material will be stored in the building.
