(AET) has completed our services related to the proposed <br /> weather station tower in Orono, MN. The scope of our services was presented in our proposal <br /> dated May 25, 2017, and was limited to the following: <br /> 1. Perform site documentation and analysis of soil conditions at the tower location. <br /> 2. Perform an in situ load test of a screw anchor installed as it will be for anchoring the guy <br /> wires of the actual tower. <br /> 3. Prepare a report with the results of our testing and analysis of the soil conditions at the <br /> tower location. <br /> Our services were performed in accordance with the terms of CSA Agreement A152997 and <br /> P.O.No. 309666. <br /> Proiect Information <br /> Hennepin County (County) is planning on erecting a weather station tower in Orono, MN. The <br /> tower will be a Campbell Scientific, Inc. (Campbell) UT30 model that will stand 30 feet high <br /> with three guy wires providing lateral support. <br /> The County will follow the installation procedures outlined by Campbell for the UT30 tower <br /> except that they will deviate as follows: <br /> l. The tower base will be placed on grade and anchored to the ground with four (4) steel <br /> rods driven to a depth of 48 inches. The preparation of the subgrade below the base has <br /> not been specified. <br /> 2.
