Re: Maintenance of Property: Dumping and Unlicensed, Inoperable
Vehicles
Dear Ms. Shons:
The City has received complaints about the appearance of
your property. On April 9, 1991 an inspection was conducted and
many code violations were found.
1. Land fill operation. It appears that you are operating
a land fill. Piles of concrete, brick, garbage, house
demolition debris, etc. are piled on the property. This is
a violation of Orono Municipal Code Section 9.55 and Section
10.03, Subdivision 19.
2. Unlicensed, inoperable vehicles. The property has many
unlicensed, inoperable vehicles parked al 1 over. This is a
violation of Orono Municipal Code Section 9.50. �
The City must require you to remove the demolition debris,
piles of concrete, brick, garbage, etc. before April 29, 1991.
This includes items that have already been buried. The
unlicensed, inoperable vehicles must be removed, or licensed and '
made operable, or stored inside a legal structure before
June 1, 1991. If these deadlines are not met the City wil 1 issue
citations and ref er the matter to the City Attorney f or f urther
legal action. If you have any questions or if you have a problem

Dear Ms. Sohns:
On April 11, 1991 this office notified you of zoning violations
� that exist on your property. A deadline of April 29, 1991 was given
for the removal of demolition debris, concrete, brick, garbage, etc.
A deadline of June 1, 1991 was given for the removal of unlicensed,
inoperable vehicles.
As of this date there has been no progress in the removal of
these violations. Your failure to remove these violations leaves
the City no alternative but to initiate legal proceedings.
Action wil 1 be withheld until May 15, 1991. If this deadline is
not met, the City will issue citations and refer the matter to
the City Attorney for the issuance of a formal complaint. If you
have any questions or if you have a problem meeting this dead- .
