Hi Tim,
i tried calling, but when I dialed your extension, I got some guy named Brent.
The enclosure can be located at the current site, but also could be moved to a better site for circulation, and maybe
more parking stalls. I'm open to the desires of the owner.
An in kind fence is a fence replaced exactly as it was. For this fence along the north property line, a chain link or wire
fence higher than 6 feet would need to replaced with a chain link or wire fence. Only if there was a rotted 6' high
privacy fence could the 6'vinyl fence be installed, along the north side.

I received an email from Roger regarding some items pending on this permit.
In review of the Woofinqton Plans, 1 note that the trash/dumpster enclosure is an open style, vinyl fencinp. The
reso/ution, condition#7, repuires that the enclosure be constructed of material similar to the principal structure, at a
location approved by staff
1 also note that a 6'fence is required(and proposed)between the subiect property and the residential properties to the
east.
1 also note that an existinq fence a/onq the north property line is proposed to be replaced by a 6'viny/fence. Only an in-
kind fence (heiqht, openness)may be constructed in that location.
Regarding item 1, I will design the trash enclosure to be a material similar to the primary structure. The majority of the
building will be either painted block of EIFS, so I will come up with a design. Can it remain where the current enclosure
is located on the site?

We have completed a preliminary plan review for the above-captioned project and find the following
Items that must be addressed in writing before a permit can be issued:
1. Provide complete Code analysis regarding fire suppression,occupant loading,occupant load,
sanitary facilities,exiting and locations of required exits.
2. Door#112 appears to decrease corridor more than 50%of required exiting width.
3. Address East exterior wall being less than Five(5)feet from property line and opening
protection.
4. Provide door handle details for all egress doors in regards to Accessibility.
5. Provide Exit door hardware details i.e.thumb turns, paddles, push bars or lever handles.
6. Delineate location of Accessible parking,access aisle and location of signage.

I just realized that this is a change of use and that there needs to be an application to the Met Council for an evaluation
of sewer charges, if any. I know that there was an application for a salon that was going to go into that space and I think
it was OK as is. We need verification of this so there needs to be an assessment done. Here is a link to the Met Council

This letter is in response to plan review comments. Responses listed below correspond to the 6 items in
the letter dated January 22, 2016 and enclosed are two copies of the revised ptans.
1. See attached revised Code Summary sheet G0.0 and revised Site plan sheet A1.1 for
additional egress plan
2. We will reverse the swings of Doors 112 and 113 to not impact required exiting width. See
attached revised floor plan sheet A2.0
3. The existing East exterior wall construction is 12" CMU with interior 2xwood furring
(fiberglass batt insulated) and one layer of S/8"gypsum board. Per UL Design No U901 this
wall fire resistance rating is between 2 and 4 hours depending on existing loose masonry fill.
Per Table 602 of the IBC,this wall is required to carry a minimum rating of 1 hour.

must consist of no more than 15%of the exterior wall area. The area of openings within the
East exterior wall (66 SF) account for 5%o of the exterior wall area (1260 SF).
