Re: Whirlpool Tub
The plumbing permit for the salon was issued without the required Building Official and State review
of the plans. If the Building Official had reviewed the plans the whirlpool tub would not have been
allowed as it is not customary to have a whirlpool tub at a salon. But because the permit was issued
for the tub we would have allowed it to be installed. However, since the one that was installed must be
replaced with one approved for commercial use,the new tub cannot be installed until the salon is
allowed to offer massage services. A separate permit will not be required but it must be inspected.
