A RESOLUTION
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5803
FILE NO. 08-3381
WHEREAS, Brook Investment Group, LLC, (hereinafter "the Owner") is the owner of the
property located at 3435 Shoreline Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and
]egally described as Tract B, RLS 1422, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter the "Property");
and
WHEREAS, on January 26, 2009, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5803 �ranting a
conditional use permit to operate a bowling center on the Property, requiring the bowling center open
within one year or grounds would exist to revoke the conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, while Barry Tanner, proprietor of the bowling center, has made substantial
progress toward opening the bowling center, he estimates it will take 90 more days to complete the
work and requests an extension of the time allowed to open the bowling center.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota, that
Resolution No. 5803 is hereby amended to allow the bowling center until April 26, 2010 to open.
Resolution No. 5803 otherwise remains in effect.
Adopted by the Orono City Council on the 25th day of January, 2010.
