A RESOLUTION
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5803
FILE NO.08-3381
WHEREAS, Brook Investment Group, LLC, (hereinafter "the Owner") is the owner of
the property located at 3435 Shoreline Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City")
and legally described as Tract B, RLS 1422, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter the
"Property"); and
WHEREAS, on January 26, 2009, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5803
granting a conditional use permit to operate a bowling center on the Property, requiring the
bowling center open within one year or grounds would exist to revoke the conditional use
permit; and
WHEREAS,on January 25, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5907
extending the time to open the bowling center to Apri126, 2010.
WHEREAS, on April 12, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5925 extending
the time to open the bowling center to July 1, 2010.
WHEREAS, while Barry Tanner, proprietor of the bowling center, has made substantial
progress toward opening the bowling center, he estimates it will take additional time to complete
the work and requests an extension of the time allowed to open the bowling center.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota,
that Resolution No. 5803 is hereby amended to allow the bowling center until October 30, 2010
to open. Resolution No. 5803 otherwise remains in effect.
Adopted by the Orono City Council on the 13�' day of September,2010.
