The City chose to allow Outlot A to remain in private owneiship upon its creation,because the City . had no need foz the Outlot as park land at the timc.It was apparently intended by the City fihat each of the owners of Lots I-7,Hartwood w�utd ha.ve a 1/7 ownership of Outlot A;however,it appears to have remained in the hauds of a single owner. This is inconsequential in regards to buildability. �It must also be noted that the City has not assessed this property as a buildable site for tax gurposes, . the current assassed value being approximately$6,000 where buildabk lots around it are valued at $150,000-400,000(land portion). Based on the information noted above, the City will nat issue a buildin� permit for Outlot A, Hartwood, because it is considered as an unbuildable lot. I am enclosing additional information . regarding the City's position�an dockage for the adjacent residence at 2080 Shoreline Drive,as well ss a copy of the original piat of Hartwood.
