As per our discussion, the <br /> buckthorn and dead underbrush may be removed from the shoreline area. The existing <br /> trees must be kept intact to prevent any further damage to the root systems. The trees <br /> may be trimmed for appearance but may not be "topped" for sake of a lake view. <br /> The root system of all the vegetation must remain intact for stabilization purposes. If the <br /> owner is planning on rip rapping the shoreline then the Lake Minnetonka Conservation <br /> District must be consulted.
