An inspection of your septic system was conducted on June 28, 2000. A summary of the inspection
is belo�v.
Septic Tank Condition
1. Pumpout needed within one year. (last pumpout date 8/25/94).
The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot sepazation distance beriveen the bottom
of the drainfield to the seasonally high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code,not a City
Code. A soil boring was conducted to deternune the depth of the seasonally �vatertable. The sepric
system must be replaced by December 31,2007.
Enclosed is a list of state licensed sepric contractors who work in Orono on a regulaz basis. Also
enclosed is a fact sheet eYplaining how a septic system functions properly. Finally, an as-built drawing
is enclosed that sho�vs the appro�cimate location of the septic system.
