ADJOURNMENT � ITEM 6C LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT RE: APPLICATION OF BERTA KVANIl�IE FINDINGS On November 12, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., pursuant to due notice, a public hearing was held by the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District ("LMCD") Board of Uirectors at the Wayzata City Hall in the City of Wayzata, Minnesota. The hearing. was��ield to consider the application by Berta Kvamme ("Applicant") for a dock length,variance for property at 2050 Shoreline Drive in the City of Orono(the "Site"). � �� � : �. The Applicant seeks a length variance for construction`of a docic�t�the Site, which has approximately 291 feet of shoreline at elevation 929:4 NGVD. The varian�e requested is to authorize construction of a dock extending 200 feet from the shoreline at �le�ation 929.4 NGVD. The hardship cited by Applicant as justification for,t[�e variance is shallow water in the dock use area. The Applicant submitted evidence that it is'necessary to extend the dock 200 feet from the shoreline to reach a depth of 4.8 feet of water when the lake level is at elevation 929.4 NGVD. � � � �`-� � � The dock depicted on the site plan proposed by the Applicant, which is attached at Attachment One and hereby made a part of these findings, will conform to side setback requirements along both sides of the dock use area for the Site.
