COMMENT PERIOD NOTICE
The MCWD is reviewing the following permit applicarion. MCWD Rules require notice to
all property owners within 600'of the proposed permitted area as a courtesy,in the event that there
are any questions or concerns. �
16-310: Alan and Anne Nettles have applied for a Minnehaha Creek Watershed District permit for
Erosion Control and Dredging at 1940 Shoreline Drive in the City of Orono. The project proposes to
remove 83 cubic yards of sediment. This has been determined to be the lowest impact solution to
maintain historic navigation. The project area is in Smith Bay of Lake Minnetonka.
Individuals with questions or concerns regarding this permit may contact Rachel Workin at
952-641-4518 or rworkin@minnehahacreek.org.
Interested parties may request that a public hearing on this permit application be scheduled
before the MCWD Board of Managers. Requests for a public hearing must be in writing and
received at the MCWD offices prior to 4:30 PM,July 25�',2016.
