RE: Temporary Signage at MarineMax Wayzata
PINs # 11-117-23-22-0007, 11-117-23-22-0006, 11-117-23-22-0005,
& 11-117-23-22-0004
The temporary signage displayed at 1444 Shoreline Drive (and additional properties
associated with MarineMax operations) is in violation of Orono City Code Section 78-
1466. This code allows businesses to utilize temporary signs for up to 40 days per
calendar year. Display of temporary signage requires a Temporary Sign permit issued
by the City of Orono. A maximum of 4 temporary sign permits may be granted per
business per calendar year.
A temporary sign includes but is not limited to the following: banners, logo flags, mobile
message boards, sandwich boards, balloons, etc. Please refer to the attached code
sections for additional temporary sign provisions.
All of the temporary signage displayed at the above referenced properties must be
removed by Thursday, June 26th in order to avoid a citation issued by the City.
The property will be re-inspected on or about June 26th for compliance with this
notification.
