Hi Dean,
We have reviewed your proposed plan. Attached is a copy of your plan annotated with our notes.Additional
information is needed before clear direction can be given:
• No structures(retaining walls) with 75'of the ordinary high water level.
• Property boundary needs to be shown.There are special setbacks based on wall height.
• Top of wall elevation is called out, bottom of elevations are also required.
• Distance of retaining wall to property line needs to be shown.
• Reference Citv Code Section 78-1405(5.1)for retaining walls under 4' in height. (Zoning Permit required)
• If retaining wall is over 4' in height, engineered plans and a building permit is needed. (Building Permit required)
• How much grading will there be, i.e. in cubic yards?
• Is the proposed project all within 1225 Shoreline Drive or are any improvements on the neighboring property?

Hi Chris,
Thanks for speaking with me today regarding a garden wall project for Lisa Dayton at 1225 Shoreline Drive.
Attached please find her wetland dnd lot survey as well as a Notice of Decision for wetland conservation.
We are interested in defining necessary permits including permit for building the garden wall and important information
regarding an erosion control plan.
On the lot survey there is depicted the desired location of the wall, pointed to by the pink arrows.
Please let us know the next steps in your process to prepare to implement the correct procedures for this project when
good weather returns.
