RE: Lake Yard Fence between 1720 & 1740 Shadywood Road
Dear Mr. Kozicky:
As per our telephone conversation of August 1, 2005, the City of Orono will allow
replacement of the fence running between 1720 & 1740 Shadywood Road on a one time
basis. Although a fence within 75' of the lake is prohibited under the current Zoning
Ordinance, replacement of your fence will be permitted due to the fact that it was
removed by the adjacent property owner without your consent.
Therefore, replacement of the fence will be permitted up until September 1, 2005 and
only in the exact location of the previous fence (see attached surveys). The replacement
fence must be constructed of the same materials and of the same height as the fence that
was removed without your consent. Should a fence not be erected by the September 1,
2005 deadline the current Zoning Ordinance fence regulations must be complied with in
the future, meaning no fence will be permitted. Should you have any further questions I
