Gentlemen/Ladies:
Subject: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION regarding plumbing at Intemational Ministerial
Fellowship,Orono,Hennepin County,Minnesota,Plan No.PLB 1005-00052
We are NOT able to grant approval at this time of the plans and specifications submitted for the above-designated
project. The following comment(s)outline the changes and/or additional information that must be submitted so
that we can further evaluate the plans and specifications for compliance with the standards of this deparhnent:
1. Please indicate in which mechanical room the water meter and water heater will be located.
2. The submitted plans indicate two existing toilet rooms,a kitchen sink,and a baz sink on the upper level,and
three new toilet rooms on the lower level. T'he existing water service may not be adequately sized to
accommodate the new fixtures, especially if it is 3/4-inch. Please provide the following information so that
adequate sizing of the water distribution system may be verified:
a. The maximum developed length of water distribution piping between the meter and the most remote
outlet.
b. The building water pressure at the meter.
c. The pipe size of the existing water service.
d. The location of the branch serving the existing fixtures on the water riser diagram.
Please verify that the existing water service is adequately sized and if not,revise the plans to show additional
capacity. Please submit a utility plan if a new water service will be required.
3. Provide a floor plan showing the location of all horizontal waste piping and all pipe sizes.
4. Please revise the riser diagrams to show the drinking fountain shown on the floor plan.
5. The submitted plan review fee was$150. However,the plans indicate 27 drainage fixture units,for which
the required plan review fee is$250. Accordingly,please submit an additional$100 for the plan review.
Please submit the requested information promptly so we may complete our plan review. No construction related to
the above-referenced plans shall begin until approval is provided by our office. When submitting additional
information,please refer to Plan No.PLB 1005-00052.
