I apologize for the delay in my response. A City of Orono building permit is required in order to rebuild your boat
house. I have attached a link to the permit application form for your use. You may also be required to obtain a permit
from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District for erosion control or your project may trigger one of their other Rules.
Please consult them directly.
Please complete the building permit application and provide all of the required submittals listed.

Good Morning Ms. Melanie Curtis and Mr. Lyle Oman,
I wish to apply for a building permit and rebuild my boat house.
Per your November 3, letter I have contacted the LMCD and also the
DNR. Is there anything that the City of Orono needs from me at this time?
Can I just move forward and submit my permit application to the DNR?
Does the City of Orono also need a copy of my plans and are there additional
permits that I may need as well?
Please let me know what the City of Orono may need from me at this time.
