Re: Utility Billing account for 2477 Shadywood Drive
Dear Ms. Svoboda;
We received your request to waive the$104.471ate payment fee accrued on the billing for the 1999
fourth quarter. You state that you mailed the payment(on or about February 18,2000), which was
due by February 25, 2000. However, the payment was not received by the City. Your realize, of
course, that the City is not responsible for mail which is undelivered or incorrectly delivered. We
do, generally,waive the late payment fee which has accrued on a utility account where that penalty
is the result of the payment being lost in the postal system. We do require that the account in
question has not had a late payment fee charged for the eight quarters prior to the occunence. We
have reviewed your account and find that it does meet the stipulations for waiving the late payment
fee. The City will waive the late payment fee in the amount of$104.47. When you pay the current
quarter billing please deduct $104.47 from the total.
