I.B.C. 1003.3.3.3 as amended by state code section 1003.3.3, exception 5, existing stairs will have a S" maximum rise and 9"minirnum tread. 12_ I.B_G 2902_1 as amended by state code section 1305.2902.2. ;. Separate facilities will be provide for each sex. 13. I.B.C. table 2902.1. One drinking fountain wilI be provided.= 14. State Code Sectian 1341.0466. Drinlcing fountain will be in compliance. 15. I.B.C. 1209. Toilet room floors will have a ceramic tile base extending 6"minimum up the wall_ 16. I.B.C. 1209.2. Walls within 2 feet of urinals and water closets will have a ceramic finish to a height of 4 feet above the floor. 17. State code section ]34I.0422, subpart 2, item A. See attached sketch for location of proposed concrete ramp. 18. Door hardware will be in compliance with Section 1341.0442, subp. 9. 19. Counters to be accessible in compliance with section 1341.0480. 20_ Plumbing plans will be submitted to the state plumbing code division. 21. Kitchen plans to be reviewed by the Her�nepin County Health Department. 22. Plans will be submitted to the Met Council for SAC determination. Box 66 Orono, MN 55356 Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066 10-29-2004 Martin Woody Architects 901 Twelve oaks Road Suite 926A Wayzata MN. 55391 Re; 2377 Shadywood road Dear Mr. Woody I have reviewed your response to my plan review notes and have the following comments. -Provide amended plan to show the proposed configuration of the accessible toilet rooms -Existing stair must meet current code for rise and run and other requirements for new stairs (There was a provision in the previous code for private stairs that did not get put in the new code) -The proposed ramp location was sent to Curt Wiehle at the state building code division and he said the accessible route must coincide with the route for the general public and the door on the parlcing lot side is where the general traffic would enter the building -SAC determination is required prior to perinit issuance When a revised plan and SAC determination are submitted and approved a permit can be issued.
