Amir called Melanie. Melanie asked me to return his call. Amir answered the phone, when I stated who I was and that I was returning his call to Melanie, he stated he doesn't know why he received this letter. He said he took a picture and sent to Melanie and she said it was fine. I replied, "at the time, the front of the buiiding was free of temporary signage". There still remains a banner on the North side of the building. I read to him what it says. There was a long pause and he said, "okay, I will take it down." I said, "and any other signs like that need to be removed and not put back without a temporary sign permit." No reply. After I hung up Lyle heard my conversation and stated that Mr. Elsherbiny had a `sandwich board' displayed in front of the restaurant today. I called Mr. Elsherbiny back and told him the `sandwich board' that is displayed in the front of the restaurant is also considered temporary signage and it needs to be removed also. He said, "okay". One thing I just want to be clear about, you mentioned banners, sandwiched boards etc.. in the attached pic, I see boards all over the city in a front of the stores, like Minnetonka mud and the store next to them, restaurants and bars and even real estate companies. Are these people in violation too ? Please clear that far me, I tried to call but I got your voice mail, also, not showing in the pic, I have a 99c banner on the top of the roof you didn't mention, is this one ok, ar need to be taken down too ?
