I did talk to Brian today. I was hoping either he or the landscaper would have photos of the rock wall. I'm willing to visit
the site, but it would be best to see it without snow on the ground for accuracy.
1 understand the materials were already on site, but no decorative boarder or retaining wall was shown on the original
plan and therefore we need additional information for the permit file.

Chris and Melanie,
I stopped at the cabin yesterday and saw the city inspector left a note wanting to complete the�nal inspection (the note
said "permit holder failed to call for final inspection")on our garage product which was already completed July 2014. I
have a stack of inspections that were completed and the one dated July 2014 clearly states final. Do you know what this
is about. I can bring you the inspection documents if you do not have them.
To refresh you memory I received an email from Chris on 12/29/14 stating there were no other questions and my
escrow would be released,then a follow up email asking about decorative wall which I responded below. I have not
heard back so I assumed we were done. I am happy to come into your office and get this finalized.
Please advise.Thank you.

Not sure what you are referencing but if it is just to the right (as you face the water)of the bottom part of the garage
that is not a retaining wall,there were rocks(hand sized)on the property prior to the garage project and we simply put
them in the corner for decoration. Size of rocks are no bigger than 6"to 10" and were on property when we bought the
place. Please feel free to stop by and take a look if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.

Upon reviewing the as-built survey again, I see I overlooked the retaining wall/decorative border shown on the
Northeast side of the garage. This wall was not on the proposed, approved plan. Please provide additional information
and/or photos pertaining to the retaining wall/decorative border;to clarify for example, how tall the wall is. Is the wall
retaining earth or purely decorative?

This letter is in reference to the 100 sq.ft.of hardcover that was instailed with a permeable paver
system. The subbase with 2"clear rock is 6"deep with a 4" layer of�'a"clear rock above the
subbase. There is a layer of 3/8"clear aggregate below the 2 3/8"thick pavers.
This allows waterto flowthrough the pavers into the subbase and into the soil subgrade.
I have enclosed a typical system diagram as well. Let me know if you need further information for
the City of Orono.
