Dear Mr. Keefe:
It has come to the attention of this office that you have recently constructed a shed on your
property at 2216 Shadywood Road in Orono. This letter is to inform you that the City of Orono
requires building permits for sheds and regulates the placement on properties.
Orono municipal code does not allow any buildings within 75' of the Lake. Therefore the
building must be moved to an acceptable location or removed from the property. A deadline of
October 1, 2001 has been established for compliance. To keep the shed on the property a
building permit must be obtained.

Dear Mr. Keefe;
On September 12, 2001 this office notified you of zoning violations regarding a shed constructed
on your property without a building permit. As of this date the violations still exist. This letter
is to require you to remove the shed before 1Vlarch 18, 2002. If this deadline is not met the city
will initiate legal action.

Dear Mr. Keefe,
On September 12, 2001 and March 18, 2002 this office notified you of zoning violations
regarding a shed constructed on your property without a building permit in a location
where no structures are allowed. Your failure to remove the shed leaves the City no
alternative but to initiate legal action. Action will be withheld until September 9, 2002. �
If this deadline is not met the City will forward the matter to the City Attorney for legal
action. A court appearance will be required.
