In follow-up to that inspection,a letter was �ennis K�ohs submitted to you with the intent to provide relevant and current educational information to Minnetonka Beach allow you to assess whether your dock and watercraft stora e confi uration was out of Bil101son $ g victoria compliance,and, if so,to take the steps necessary to voluntarily bring the storage of Kelsey Page watercraft into compliance with the LMCD Ordinances;with re-inspections planned for the HerbrSu rtn� 2008 boating season. Althou¢h I have documented thatyou have communicated with the woodiand LMCD,boat stora¢e at the subiect site continued to be out of compliance with LMCD Code Dick Woodruff dr�r�n�t the 2008 re-mspections snorewood • To assess how many restricted watercraft your site can store,the following is enclosed: • A document outlining frequently asked questions relating to boat storage. • An excerpt from LMCD Code Section 2.02, which is also found in its entirety on the LMCD web site at htto://www.lmcd.or�/pages/Chapter2 htm. • An educational flyer to help you assess your dock use area. It is recommended that any prior communication pending with LMCD stat�'be resolved as re-inspection of your site is planned in 2009 and beyond; startiag in June. Any furt6er violations will require me to turn this matter over to the LMCD prosecuting attorney. You will note that the data base documents "w-comm." Greenwood Herb Suerth and "w/o-Comm." The form letter is designed to acknowledge those Woodland Dick Woodruff individuals that have communicated with the LMCD after receipt of the Shorewood first letter; however, remained out of compliance. Vacant Excelsior The letter is utilized as the LMCD's second step in communication to documented sites storing three or four restricted watercraft. Prior to mailing the letter, staff has confirmed the sites estimated shoreline and, if possible, the ownership of their watercraft. All sites will be re- inspected in the 2009 boating season.
